Battery replacement on a Maserati

The battery supplies power for starting and supports the car's control systems. A weak battery can cause slow cranking, warning messages or electrical features that behave erratically. Delaying replacement can strain the charging system and leave the car unable to start.

When to inspect or replace: The starter battery is tested at every service and replaced on the test result rather than at a set age. Hybrid drive batteries are a separate matter.
Maintenance and early warning signs: Short trips and daily aircon use are hard on a battery in Singapore; give the car a longer run where you can, switch accessories off before the engine, and park in shade. Cooling-system leaks and repairs on a Maserati

The water pump, thermostat and radiator control coolant flow and engine temperature. A fault may show up as a warning, rising temperature, a sweet smell or coolant beneath the car. Continuing to drive can cause overheating and turn a leaking component into serious engine damage.
