Other usual suspects are a failed compressor (the pump that drives the whole system), a leaking or blocked condenser, a clogged cooling coil, a faulty expansion valve, or an electrical fault in a sensor, relay or blower.
The fix depends entirely on the cause, which is why a proper diagnosis matters more than a guess. Topping up gas on a system that is leaking just hides the problem. Singapore is hot and humid all year, so your car aircon never gets a break. That constant strain wears parts faster than in cooler countries, and it is exactly when the aircon dies that you feel it most.
A warm cabin here is not just uncomfortable, it is a real problem on a long drive or with kids in the back. The heat also makes small faults snowball: a weak compressor works harder, a minor leak empties faster. The sooner you get it checked, the smaller and cheaper the repair usually is.

3. Leaking or blocked condenser. The condenser sheds heat at the front of the car, so it takes the brunt of road grime and stone chips. A leak or blockage kills cooling.
4. Clogged or leaking cooling coil (evaporator). A very common failure here. A leaking coil loses gas and weakens cooling, and replacing it usually means removing the dashboard, so it is a job for a specialist.
5. Expansion valve fault. A stuck valve causes weak or intermittent cooling, often cold one moment and warm the next.
6. Electrical faults. A failed blower motor, relay, pressure switch or sensor can stop the aircon even when the gas and compressor are fine. Proper diagnostics tell them apart.
There is a useful clue in how your aircon fails. Blowing warm all the time usually points to no refrigerant (a leak that has emptied the system) or a compressor that has stopped. Cold then warm, or weak cooling more often means a partial leak, a struggling compressor, an expansion-valve fault, or a clogged coil. Cold at speed but warm in traffic can point to airflow problems at the condenser or a cooling fan fault.
