Mercedes GLB 200 Steering Vibration: How We Confirmed and Replaced the Steering Rack

Before the visit, the owner asked us to price a new steering rack for the car, and we did. On the day, the owner described a vibration that came now and then on impact at speeds above 60km/h, like going over a bump, and stopped when they slowed to 50. The owner suspected the steering rack and asked if that was the cause.

It was a fair guess, but a guess is not a diagnosis. The owner asked the right question too: will you check first before changing anything? That is exactly how we work. We confirm the fault before we replace a part.
