What the owner reported
The Subaru Forester's aircon had been getting noticeably less cold over recent weeks. In Singapore, a car aircon that cannot keep up with the heat is more than an inconvenience, especially for a car used for daily family driving.
Topping up the refrigerant alone was not holding, which told us the gas was escaping somewhere rather than simply depleting with age. The owner wanted the fault properly diagnosed and fixed, not patched with a top-up that would wear off again in a few months.
