Ask for an underside check at every service. Oil on the mounts, a wet patch around the engine and gearbox join, or a split driveshaft boot can often be seen on the hoist before they fail.
A split boot is the one to act on quickly. Once the grease is out and dirt gets in, the CV joint can wear, and a boot replacement can turn into a CV joint replacement. A new noise over humps is also worth a check before it spreads to the parts around it.
