What the owner reported
The owner brought in a BMW 3 Series for a brake check. The brakes had been feeling soft and the stopping distance seemed longer than before. There was also a vibration under load that had been building.
The owner also mentioned an airbag warning light that had appeared after a jump-start. On modern BMWs, disconnecting the battery or a jump-start can trigger warning lights as the ECU resets. This is common and the light was noted and addressed alongside the mechanical work.
With multiple symptoms across the car, a proper inspection rather than a quick pad change was the right approach.
